In a press release, the agency claimed it's alarmed concerning the significant variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider point developed for intervention ordeals a high influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a website service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to help the servicing of all clients and enhance use of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
